We know that every individual has unique needs and desires, as well as their own story to tell. We are here to listen, to laugh, to love, and to provide care and comfort during this time in our patients’ and families’ lives. Hospice offers people with a terminal illness an opportunity for a better quality of life when curative treatment is no longer effective. Hospice treats the whole person, not just the disease; while providing care and support to friends and family as well. The emphasis of care is on helping the patient make the most of every moment by providing comfort and relief from pain and symptoms. St. Gabriel’s Hospice provides the Dignity, Compassion, Integrity and Hope our patients and their families deserve.

When I first shadowed the St. Gabriel's Hospice aides, I knew this was the hospice I wanted to work for. The entire team treats the patients, families, and facility staff with respect, dignity, and love. I have experienced many different hospices in Austin, but none provide the consistency or the attention that the patients and families deserve. This was the first hospice that claims to have small caseloads for their staff and actually holds to it. The support from the home office in Ft. Worth is unheard of, they truly want whatever is best for the patients and are eager to support the staff. Their mission, People Caring For People, is evident from their aides, all the way to the CEO. I am so blessed and proud to be part of this team and would unreservedly recommend St. Gabriel's Hospice to anyone as a provider or an employer.

Not all hospice companies are created equal! From their ethical admission process to their professional, personal patient care, St Gabriel's is a cut above!
